Class Roster Nancy, we don't publish a class roster. If you go to the Lost Classmates List, and there are e-mail links for both Barbara O'Connor Carnahan and me. If you want someone else's information, first, give us your own contact information, including your date of birth. If you're not among the missing, this will verify for us who you are. The Lost Classmates List at this point should have only 10 names on it: Betty Jean Anderson, John David Crimmins (possible MHS '70), Sandra Lou Davis, Mary Ann Ford, David Michael Harding, Julie Ann Henry, Lawrence Lonza (Lonnie) Northern, Gayle Elizabeth Riley, Margaret Jane Sullivan, Charles William Williams. I have evidence that the following formerly Lost Classmates have died: Mary Ann Burchett, Peter Thomas Jordan and Eric Pearson. Everyone else is pretty much found.
Steve Thomas has offered to bankroll a 45th Reunion and I also offered to bankroll it before I knew of Steve's offer. What this means is that the usual suspects will start their e-mail chatter around the summer of 2013. |

Reunion-sorry I missed I could not make the reunion but had hoped someone would post some pictures, if nothing else hoping not to be recognized and just showing the fun of progressing in our respective ages. I spoke with Larry Zok (class of 68) and sounded like the gathering of both classes was a hoot! Hope all is well.... |

facebook group For those of you who have learned to do haltingly what your children do routinely: Lin has setup a facebook group for McLean High School Class of 1969. In facebook, search on that, and you will find 18 members (currently) in the group.
People also self-identify their high school and year of graduation in their facebook profiles, and you can search on this. From facebook, move your cursor to "Friends" in the top toolbar. A pull-down menu will appear; select "Find Friends" and click. On the next screen, you will see "Find former high school classmates" in the lower right. Click on that. On the next screen, enter McLean High School as the school name, select 1969 as the year, find and click on the search button. The function currently returns 39 people; 2 are MHS but not our class, 2 more aren't on our roster, and 35 look OK.
5 women appear only under their married names in the output; here are conversions you'll need to do: O'Neill=Drashpil; Dean=McLellan; Conover=Knowlton; Drummond=Burke; McLaughlin=Petersen.
Finally, we have a number of people in the class who did not identify themselves as MHS 1969, but I'm confident they are our classmates: Brenda Kuppel (Abell), Karen Blakney, Lana Farber Le Vine, Deborah Grina Bonnet, Dee Quashnock, Mac Ragsdale, Nancy Petrie (Smithman), Donna Williamson Beach. |

Second! To enter your comment, click on the link. I can't anything else that would work. I've sent Lin a new Lost Classmates List; let's hope he publishes it soon. There are about 30 people on it, and without any additional help I expect Barbara and I will about a 1/4 of them. Secondly, Lin setup a group on facebook for our Class. There are about 15 people on it now. I promise I'll get myself a better picture. I'm looking forward to seeing you all. |
